Therapy

You're having a hard day.
You've flunked your tests.
Your assignment is late.
You're being screamed at.
You dread the lash of scolding.
You've had a hard day.
You don't want to go on.
You need the pain, the drugs.
The alcohol, the intoxicants.
You hate life, and you just want to end it.
Now.
Close your eyes.
And clench your right hand,
into a fist.
As hard as possible.
Now let go,
extend your fingers,
and place them over your heart.
Feel that?
That's called purpose.
You're alive for a reason.
Don't give up.
