How the Sun Set

(a poem based on Skyril's 'How the Sun Rose')

The sun set in blazes of red;
The sky sighed in dark blue tiredness.
The clouds seemed like sheep you count before bed;
That's how the sun set.

The roof upon which I sat
Became a dark black-white indigo.
The moon shined and painted the scenery softly;
That's how night fell.

And with Night I fell to the hands of Dreams
My eyes closed yet my mind was delighted!
And the moon - gazing down at my dreams - saw a smile on my tired face.
